St. Raphael Catholic School does a wonderful job of providing our children with an outstanding faith-based education. However, the reality is that tuition and fees do not by themselves make a quality school. That is why the efforts of the St. Raphael Home & School Association, of which we are all members, are so important.
Autumn Ball. or as it's being called this year, "Emerald Ball" is Home & School's largest fundraiser of the year. It is an evening of cocktails, dinner, entertainment and dancing together with a silent and live auction, and new this year, an online auction. Last year over 280 parents, teachers, and friends attended Autumn Ball and raised over $100,000 for our school. Autumn Ball, along with other Home and School fundraisers, provides the money to fund everything from curriculum enhancing field trips and author visits to contributions to our endowment fund, school budget and staff appreciation gifts.
All school families are encouraged to attend Autumn Ball and they in turn can invite family, neighbors, and friends. As a new family, it is a wonderful way to meet other St. Raphael parents as you become part of this incredible school community so we strongly encourage you to attend....we know you'll have a fabulous time!
In the meantime, Emerald Ball cannot succeed without the contributions of our amazing parents. There are many Committees to get involved with and many ways to contribute your time and talent so we encourage you contact either one of us and tell us how you'd like to help!
